Dates are the pattern NIOS has followed in recent sessions. The 2026–27 notifications will confirm them — check sdmis.nios.ac.in before you rely on any single line here.

Small things that are cheap now and expensive in February.
How the marks land
Four separate scorecards per subject, not one. The practical and the TMA are the two most controllable.
- 312 / 313 / 314 — theory paper 80 marks + practical 20 marks. You have to clear each side separately.
- 330 — theory paper plus a practical component; the C++ practical file and viva are part of it.
- TMA — one per subject, 20 marks on the paper, handwritten by you, uploaded to the dashboard. It carries into the final result, so a strong TMA is the cheapest marks in the whole course.
- Validity — registration runs five years with up to nine exam chances, so April 2027 is a first attempt, not a last one.
